Return Policy

Items may be returned for a full refund or exchanged within 7 days of purchase. Merchandise must be in original, unworn condition, with tags, and proof of purchase is required. No returns or exchanges on tailored or custom clothing will be accepted. No returns or exchanges will be accepted on final sale items. Returns will be issued store credit via gift card. For gift returns, a gift receipt is required, and refunds will be issued via gift card. For online orders and returns, shipping is the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of incorrect orders. If an order is shipped containing a different item than was purchased, return shipping will be paid by Guild and Gentry and the order corrected at no cost to the customer. If you have received an incorrect order, please email a copy of your receipt and photos of the incorrect item, including store tags, to info@guildandgentry.com. Orders that are returned without a preemptive email are not eligible for free shipping. We do not accept returns on Social Light lighters. For issues with Social Light lighters, please contact them directly at info@sociallighters.com.

Special Orders (not including made to measure items)

Any item not found in store and available from the manufacturer can be special ordered. Customers who wish to place a special order will be required to fill out the Special Order Request form. Any special orders that are not paid for in full within 7 days of their receipt by Guild and Gentry will be released for sale in store.

Payment Types

Shoplifters will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Guild and Gentry accepts cash, local checks, credit, or debit cards. Checks will only be accepted if issued from a bank with a branch in Jones County, MS, and must show the writer’s name, phone number, driver’s license number, and a physical address. If paying with a business check, the writer’s name, phone number, and driver’s license number must be listed. See returned check policy below. No store credit will be issued. If participating in Guild and Gentry’s Made To Measure subscription plan, initial payment is due at time of measurement, and a credit or debit card must be left on file. Charges will be run monthly based on plan guidelines until balance is paid in full. If the card on file is declined, customer will be contacted via phone and subscription suspended pending resolution.

Returned Check Policy

It is a crime to intentionally write bad checks. If a check is returned for insufficient funds, a Guild and Gentry representative will first reach out to the customer for resolution between 8AM and 9PM the next business day. If contact cannot be made or no mutual resolution established, a certified letter with return receipt and a copy of the check will be mailed to the customer. If payment is still withheld, Guild and Gentry will directly contact the bank holding the checking account and request funds. If funds are still unavailable or the bad check was written intentionally, Guild and Gentry will take the necessary legal steps, including but not limited to prosecution.

Hours of Operation

Guild and Gentry is open from 10AM – 5PM, Tuesday – Saturday, or by appointment. Guild and Gentry reserves the right to change these hours at the owners’ discretion.

Gift Registry

Gift wrap is available for an additional $2.00. Any in-store or special order item may be a registry item. Guild and Gentry Groom’s Registry participants will be asked to fill out the Groom’s Registry form, which will be kept on file, and will detail how gifts are to be received by the registrant. Delivery fees apply.

Soliciting

ABSOLUTELY NO CASH DONATIONS will be given to any group at any time. Soliciting is strictly prohibited. The Glory House in Laurel, MS, is the exclusive charitable partner of Guild and Gentry, and has been thoroughly vetted as a registered 501c3. All solicitations for individual financial assistance will be referred to The Glory House.

Delivery

Local delivery service is available in Jones, Jasper, Clarke, Wayne, Lamar, Forrest, Covington, and Smith Counties for an additional fee. See fee schedule below. Purchases and delivery fees must be paid prior to date of delivery. Deliveries must be scheduled in advance with Caroline Burks (601.319.9404) and will be completed within 48 hrs of purchase (or, in the case of special order items, receipt of order from manufacturer by Guild and Gentry). For deliveries that include both clothing and furnishings, each category will be totaled separately and the higher delivery fee applied.

Shipping

Guild and Gentry ships anywhere within the continental United States. Shipping costs vary by weight, speed, and distance, and shipping methods are chosen by the customer online at checkout. For shipped orders called into Guild and Gentry, customer will choose shipping methods over the phone and will be asked to sign and return a waiver to that effect before goods will be shipped. Guild and Gentry vouches for the accuracy of orders at time of shipment; any defect or error in shipped product that originated in-store will be corrected at no cost to the customer, see above Return Policy. Guild and Gentry is not responsible for items lost, stolen, mishandled, or damaged in shipping, and any claims to that end must be made with the shipping company. Orders placed after 12PM will not be processed until the next business day. Guild and Gentry does not ship to PO boxes, or to rural addresses where USPS does not deliver. Lost, damaged, or delayed orders shipped to undeliverable addresses will not be refunded by Guild and Gentry. For any questions about shipping, please call our store at 601-319-9404.

Hiring Policy

If a position is available, qualified applicants will be asked to fill out the Guild and Gentry Employment Application and contacted to schedule an in-person interview. Guild and Gentry reserves the right to contact all listed references, view the applicant’s social media profiles, and conduct a thorough background check of any applicant. If an applicant is hired, a starting date and pay rate will be determined by Guild and Gentry.

Scheduling Policy

Employee schedules will be determined by the active manager of Guild and Gentry. Time off must be requested at least one week in advance, prior to the manager posting the upcoming schedule. Time off requests after the schedule is posted will not be honored.
