By accessing or using the Guild and Gentry website (www.guildandgentry.com), making a purchase, or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. CHANGES TO TERMS

Guild and Gentry reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

3. WEBSITE USE AND ACCOUNT TERMS

3.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not:

4. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

4.1 Product Descriptions

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and images. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content is accurate, complete, or error-free. Colors and details may vary from images displayed.

4.2 Pricing and Availability

All prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify prices, discontinue products, or correct pricing errors at any time. Product availability is subject to change, and we cannot guarantee inventory levels.

4.3 Special Orders

Any item not found in store and available from the manufacturer can be special ordered. Customers must complete a Special Order Request form. Special orders not paid for in full within 7 days of receipt by Guild and Gentry will be released for sale in store.

5. PAYMENT AND BILLING

5.1 Payment Methods

We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Checks are only accepted if issued from a bank with a branch in Laurel, MS, and must include the writer’s name, phone number, driver’s license number, and physical address. Business checks must include the writer’s name, phone number, and driver’s license number.

5.2 Returned Check Policy

Writing bad checks is a crime. If a check is returned for insufficient funds:

We will contact you between 8AM-9PM the next business day for resolution
If contact cannot be made, we will send a certified letter with return receipt
If payment is still withheld, we will contact your bank directly
If funds remain unavailable or the check was intentionally bad, we will pursue legal action including prosecution

5.3 Order Processing

Orders placed after 12PM will not be processed until the next business day. Payment must be received before shipment or delivery.

6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

6.1 Shipping Policy

We ship anywhere within the continental United States. Shipping costs vary by weight, speed, and distance. We do not ship to PO boxes or rural addresses where USPS does not deliver. We vouch for order accuracy at time of shipment but are not responsible for items lost, stolen, mishandled, or damaged during shipping.

6.2 Local Delivery

Local delivery is available in Jones, Jasper, Clarke, Wayne, Lamar, Forrest, Covington, and Smith Counties for additional fees:

CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES (under 25 lbs):

Orders under $500: $50 delivery fee
Orders $500-$1,000: $25 delivery fee
Orders over $1,000: Free delivery

FURNISHINGS AND HOME GOODS (over 25 lbs):

Orders under $500: $100 delivery fee
Orders $500-$1,000: $150 delivery fee
Orders over $1,000: 15% of order cost or $200, whichever is greater

Deliveries must be scheduled in advance and will be completed within 48 hours of purchase (or receipt of special order items).

7. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Items may be returned for store credit or exchanged within 7 days of purchase. Requirements:

Merchandise must be in original, unworn condition with tags
Proof of purchase required
No returns on tailored, custom, or final sale items
Gift returns require gift receipt and are issued via gift card
For online orders, we pay return shipping for authorized returns

8. SMS/TEXT MESSAGING TERMS

8.1 Consent and Opt-In

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive marketing and promotional SMS messages from Guild and Gentry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

8.2 Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by:

8.3 SMS Disclaimers

Tuesday-Wednesday: 10AM-5PM
Thursday-Friday: 10AM-6PM
Saturday: 10AM-4PM

We reserve the right to change these hours at our discretion.

11. SOLICITATION POLICY

Soliciting is strictly prohibited. We do not provide cash donations to any groups. The Glory House in Laurel, MS is our exclusive charitable partner. All requests for individual financial assistance will be referred to The Glory House.

13.2 Limitation of Liability

14.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Jones County, Mississippi.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. FORCE MAJEURE

Guild and Gentry shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, or government actions.

16. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Guild and Gentry regarding your use of our website and services.
